CORVUS STONE: Unscrewed (2015)

  Here's a really interesting band I discovered recently. I felt to need to write this post in order for more people to learn about them, because they surely deserve it!

  CORVUS STONE is a multinational project, and more or less came to be in the spring of 2012 following a series of chance encounters between musicians on social networks, Facebook first and foremost. With a helping hand by dedicated music fan and musician friend Sonia Mota, a common denominator in the virtual friends lists of all the musicians and others involved in the project along the way.

  Since 2012 that the band is active, they released 3 studio albums, with ‘Unscrewed’ being their latest one.  ‘Unscrewed’ includes 13 tracks, but some of them are remixes of older songs that you can find in their previous albums. Their music is a guitar-driven modern Progressive Rock, with very beautiful melodies, and interesting turns on most of the songs.

  I have this album for less than a week, and I can’t stop listening to it. I believe it is one of the best releases of 2015. (So far at least).
