PROG & ROLL Radio Show (25/10/2015). A "review" and the full playlist.

Hello all!
Last night one more Prog & Roll radio show was online, at 20.00 UK time as usual.
It was the first time that we included the 'Listener's Happy Hour' in our show, and I believe it was a nice addition. (If you want to learn more about the "Listener's Happy Hour", take a look in the previous post I wrote a few days ago).
Furthermore, we had as "guest on the chatbox:" Mr. Dicki Fliszar, who is currently the drummer of the Los Angeles-based band 'Perfect Beings'. Before 'Perfect Beings' he was playing with Bruce Dickinson, and participated in some of his concerts.
As for the show itself, this time it was divided in 2 parts: On the first part we played songs only from albums that has been released in 2014 and 2015. And after that, we had the "Listener's Happy Hour", on which we played the songs that people from our audience asked for.
In general I'm pleased with last night's show, and I believe that the people who were listening were pleased and satisfied.
Here you can take a look at the whole playlist:
1st Part: LEPROUS: The Price / RIVERSIDE: Under the Pillow / PERFECT BEINGS: Volcanic Streams / HFMC: Everything Can Change / KAYAK: Stranger in Rome / IOEARTH: Redemption / STEVE HACKETT: Corycian Fire / IAMTHEMORNING: The Simple Story / PERFECT BEINGS: Cryogenia.
2nd Part (Listener's Happy Hour): MOSTLY AUTUMN: The Last Bright Light / PAIN OF SALVATION: Sisters / ALCEST: Autre Temps / BLIND GUARDIAN: Mordred’s Song / IRON MAIDEN: Brave New World / MAYFAIR: Gold Coated Girls / ALICE COOPER: Second Coming – Ballad of Dwight Fry / RUSH: La Villa Strangiato – Live.
I would like to thank all those who spend some of their time in order to send us e-mails with their song requests, and all those who have become our faithful listeners and supporters. A special thanks to Dicki for joining our show last night, even when he had to go to the airport.
Prog & Roll will be online again on next Sunday, for the 1st show of November, on which we will include the "album of the month".
Thank you all!

PROG & ROLL Radio Show Presents: 'Listener's Happy Hour'

 Hello all! :-)
I'm writing this post in order to inform you about a new addition we are going to do in our online radio show Prog & Roll.
Starting tomorrow, and at the last show of each month, we are going to have the 'Listener's Happy Hour'.
What is that? Let me explain here:
In order to thanks somehow our devoted fans and listeners, we decided that during each month we are going to accept their e-mails with their song requests. On the last show of each month we are going to play their requests in a special show. But we are going to play 1 song for each person only.
So, in tomorrow's Prog & Roll we are going to play our listener's requests. We have some very good songs in our playlist, so I would recommend to all of you not to miss this show!
In case you are interested, you can listen to Prog & Roll on every Sunday night at 20.00 UK time. The show is in English and Greek, and you can listen to it by clicking the following link:

Hope to "see" you online!

Hello everybody!
Last night one more Prog & Roll radio show was online as usual.
In this post you can read a few things about the show, and take a look at the full playlist.
Last night's show was a good one I believe, and as far as I saw everybody had some nice time with us and our music choices.
Once more we divided the 2-hours show into 4 half-hour parts, and we played different styles of music on each part. We had a music contest as well, and the 2 winners took as a prize Drifting Sun's brand new EP named 'Alice'.
On next Sunday's show we will have for the first time the "Listener's Happy Hour', on which we will play songs that are requests from our audience. I'm curious to see which songs our listeners will choose to be honest.
Here you can take a look at last night's playlist:
1st Part: TOOL: Schism / SYSTEM OF A DOWN: Chop Suey! / RISHLOO: Dead Rope Machine / ABSOLACE: Sirens
2nd Part: INES: In a Space Made of Blue / LORIEN: The Divide / MARILLION: Easter / SEVEN STEPS TO THE GREEN DOOR: Melissa / DRIFTING SUN: Alice
3rd Part: AUDIENCE: I Put a Spell on you / THE BEATLES: While My Guitar Gently Weeps / KEEF HARTLEY BAND: Waiting Around / KGB: Midnight Traveler / STONE THE CROWS: The Fool on the Hill / THE ANIMALS: Bring it on Home to Me
4rth Part: LED ZEPPELIN: No Quarter / BRUCE DICKINSON: Jerusalem / BLUE OYSTER CULT: Cities on Flame – Live
"Epic" Song: BLACK SABBATH: Megalomania
A very big thanks to all those who listened to our show last night, and to those who already send us e mails with their song requests for next Sunday. Don't miss the next Prog & Roll, it's going to be a very interesting one! :-)
Thank you!
