Hello all!
One more Prog & Roll radio show was online last night, and here I am today in order to tell you how it went. Well, I believe that it was a really good show! We had many people listening during the show, and some of them were also chating in the chatbox. Once more we had both members of 'Salander', and as it seemed everybody enjoyed the songs we chose to play.
I don't want to brag about it, but I never heard of a radio show having an 'encore' before. And last night was the second time it happened in Prog & Roll. Near the end there were some people who were saying on the chatbox 'More more!', knowing of course that our show is the last one and there is no follow up. So, we made a last minute arrangement, and managed to keep the server open for a while. But the problem was, which song to play as last one? So we decided to make it more fun. We chose 3 songs, and let the people vote which one they wanted to listen. But because the result was almost a tie, we decided to play 2 songs finally. So everybody would be happy! :)
As for the playlist, it included songs from many different music genres, and as Grand Finale we kept a really magnificent song. 'The Song of Scheherazade' by Renaissance. Well, before we realized that we would have to make an encore of course. :)
Here you can see the whole playlist:
GLASS HAMMER: Farewell to
Shadowlands / ELOY: Mysterious Monolith / NEKTAR: Do you believe in magic /
STRING DRIVEN THING: Heartfeeder / THIN LIZZY: Black Rose / FISH:
Internal Exile / STATUS QUO Feat. MADDY PRIOR: All Around my Hat / MIKE HERON:
Don’t kill it Carol / MATTHEWS SOUTHERN COMFORT: Colorado Springs Eternal /
STEVE WYNN: Black Magic / GREEN ON RED: Sixteen Ways / COLOSSEUM: Theme for an
Imaginary Western / RARE EARTH: (I know) I’m losing you / THE ROLLING STONES:
Sympathy for the Devil / CURVED AIR: Marie Antoinette / RENAISSANCE: Song of
Scheherazade. ENCORE: STRAWBS: Tears and Pavan / RUSH: Jacob’s Ladder.
We want to thank all of you who logged in last night, and be sure we will always try to find ways to make our show a more fun and interesting one!
Thank you!
