Last night one more Prog & Roll radio show was on
air as usual, but because my wife and co-host
was sick, I had to run it all by myself.
We had many people listening once more, and some of them
were also participating on the chatbox. From time to time the chatbox was on
fire, and we shared a laugh quite a few times. Further than that, we played
with our listeners our usual ‘grade the songs’ game and we added a few more songs
in the list for the ‘Song of the Month’ contest, that will take place on the
last show of November.
Last night’s show was divided into 2 major parts: The first
“noisy” one, and the second, more relaxed and “proggy” one.
Here you can take a look at the whole playlist:
Part
1: YEAR OF THE GOAT: Spirits of Fire / SIENA ROOT: Between the Lines / CRIPPLED
BLACK PHOENIX: Deviant Burials / VERBAL DELIRIUM: Images from a Grey World / IN
THE WOODS: Kairos.
Part
2: MAGO DEL OZ: La Costa del Silencio / TRIDDANA: Man of Clay / NIGHTWISH:
Sacrament of Wilderness / IRON MAIDEN: Powerslave / METALLICA: For Whom the Bell
Talls.
Part
3: STEVE HACKETT: Wolflight / CORVUS STONE: Early morning Call / KANSAS: The
Unsung Heroes / MESSENGER: Somniloquist.
Part
4: CULPEPER’S ORCHARD: Gideon’s Trap / PROCOL HARUM: Something Magic /
ILLUSION: Wings Across the Sea / KING CRIMSON: Starless.
The
next Prog & Roll radio show will be online on Sunday the 20th of
November, having as “guests on the chatbox” the English Progressive Rock band The
Far Meadow.
I
very big thanks to all those who tuned last night, and especially to Benjamin
Bell and Colin Tench who were there once more. We are very proud and happy to
have such lovely people in our audience.
Thank
you all! 😊
