Hello everybody!
Last night Prog & Roll radio show was online once more, with the special show we had announced during the week.
Last night's show was dedicated to the excellent compilation of Musea records 'Decameron - Ten Days in 100 Novellas', which is divided into 3 parts. Each part includes 4 cds so the whole package includes 12 cds.
This time we prepared a "different" show for our listeners, in almost everything. It lasted longer, it was divided in 3 and not the usual 4 parts, it wasn't including our usual music quiz, and had no "epic" song at the end! We had quite a good crowd listening once more, (including people form Greece, UK and Germany), but the chatbox was less busy than usual, because the people were paying attention to the music and the bands we were playing. From our behalf, we provided some info every now and then about the collection and Boccaccio's book itself, mixed with some beautiful and atmospheric songs taken from Musea's compilations.
As I just wrote, last night's show was divided into 3 uneven parts, and each part was dedicated to each of the 3 volumes of the 'Decameron' collection.
From the beginning till the end of the show we were very glad to have with us once more the Greek composer and multi-instrumentalist Nicolas Nickolopoulos, the leader of Ciccada and a basic member in Verbal Delirium. He listened to the show, he had a relaxed and pleasant chat with us and the people on the chatbox, and informed us about some things concerning Decameron; since his band Ciccada was included in the 1st volume of the compilation, with the beautiful song She Went for Love.
I really believe it was a very good show, different than our usual ones, and I have the feeling that the people enjoyed it a lot.
I would like to say a very big thanks to all those who chose to spend their Sunday evening with us.
I hope you had some nice time.
Thank you very much!
Here's the complete setlist:
