Last night one more Prog & Roll Radio Show was online, this time with a special "theme" show, as I mentioned a few days ago with a post I wrote in this blog.
We had a 'Symphonic Prog' show prepard for our listeners, and the choice of the bands was according to Prog Archive's list. As I wrote in a previous post, I don't agree in many ocassions with Prog Archive's categories, but what can you do?
We had many people listening once more, mostly from Greece, UK and France as far as I know, and many of them were participating on the chatbox as well.
Personally speaking, I don't think that this was a very good show. I think we chose the wrong songs (or the wrong bands), and the show had a slow tempo in general. Yes, we played some very good songs, some melodic ones etc, but something was missing. But despite that, I was glad to see our usual listeners being there once more, participating in the "song of the month" contest, by grading the songs we were playing, while chatting with us and eachother.
On next Sunday's show we are going to have the final stage of the "Song of the Month" contest, where our listeners will have to choose which song will be announced as the best song of October. The song they will choose will reserve a spot in Prog & Roll's Top-10 songlist.
It is going to be a very interesting show I believe, not to mention that we are going to play some really great songs, one after the other!
