A SPOONFUL OF TIME: An Important New Record Release...

                              NEKTAR: A SPOONFUL OF TIME...

One of the most historical bands of Progressve Rock (Nektar), will release a new album with cover versions of famous Rock songs. (Progressive or not).
This record will be released in about 3 weeks from now (On 27 November 2012).
But why I wrote 'An Important New Record Release' on the Top?
Because Nektar will not be alone on this record. A whole army of musicians will participate...
Members from Deep Purple, Marillion, Opeth, Dream Theater, King Crimson, Yes, Asia,
Symphony X, The Moody Blues, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Hawkwind and other bands, will also be present.
In order to have an idea, here's the tracklist of the record, including which guest musicians will participate in every song:

1. Sirius - Feat: Michael Pinnella (Symphony X)
2. Spirit of the Radio - Feat: Mark Kelly (Marillion)
3. Fly Like an Eagle - Feat: Geoff Downes (Asia/Yes)
                                               & Joel Vandroogenbroeck (Brainticket)
4. Wish You Were Here - Feat: Edgar Froese (Tangerine Dream)
5. For the Love of Money - Feat: Ian Paice (Deep Purple) & Nik Turner (Hawkwind)
6.Can't Find My Way Home - Feat: Steve Howe (Yes) & Derek Sherinian
(Dream Theater) & Mel Collins (King Crimson)
7. 2000 Light Years from Home - Feat: Simon House (Hawkwind)
8. Riders on the Storm - Feat: Rod Argent (The Zombies & Argent)
9. Blinded by the Light - Feat: Joakim Svalberg (Opeth) & Ginger Baker (Cream)
10. Out of the Blue - Feat: Simon House (Hawkwind)
11. Old Man - Feat: David Cross (King Crimson)
12. Dream Weaver - Feat: Jerry Goodman (Mahavishnu Orchestra)
13. I'm not in Love - Feat: Rick Wakeman (Yes)
14. Africa - Feat: Bobby Kimball (Toto) & Patrick Moraz (The Moody Blues)

I believe that no matter if someone likes the tracklist or not, it is a very good new release!
(Speaking for myself, I'd rather a few other songs instead of some that are in this tracklist).
But that's not the point.
The point is that all these great musicians gathered in order to make record worth bying!
Well, see you at the record stores folks! :)
